Where Has The Time Gone

Published by Connor at 10:22 pm under Uncategorized

July is basically over.  At the speed it’s moving, by the time I hit publish on this article, it will be dated as August.  I find that when I anticipate things, time moves slower, so my anticipation of the Eagles season should bring August to a crawl.  This week kind of flew by. I realized how much I enjoy living by myself.  It gives me time to really live like I want.  I’ve been walking around naked almost constantly.  If I showered at 6pm, chances are I ain’t even looking into my underwear drawer until I leave for work in the morning.  I have had the place to myself all week, and have only had one person over.  This was supposed to be a week of non-stop orgy mayhem.  But alas, my conservative ways have gotten the best to me.  But in sad news to all my readers, things have ended with the girl for whom I disappear for late at night, and as a result my newest twitter bit (and arguably the best running comedy bit I ever had) is over.

I’ve come upon a difficult concept.  What gains a girl more ground on her looks?  We all know my theory that girls in phillies gear get bumped up at least one number.  A girl who’s normally a 6 becomes a 7 in an Utley shirt.  A phillies jersey shirt + denim skirt can make almost any girl a solid 8.  You get the idea.  Well I must have been out of college for too long, because I forgot sundresses do the same thing.  But what has the more positive effect on a girl?  I don’t see enough sundresses so hopefully it’s the phillies gear.

I’m astonished at how easily Knight on the real world could replace Sean in my life.  They look similar enough that it wouldn’t be a massive change, and Knight just seems like the kind of guy I associate myself with.

Time for a photo break for the text.

Here’s something I’ve been doing.  I’m a bit of an efficient texter. If I’m doing something and here my text ring go off, I stop what I’m doing and answer the text.  But sometimes, the person I send it to will take a long time to reply, but once again I’ll reply immediately.  I feel like this means I come off desperate.  So here’s the new thing I do. I silenced my text message ring.  That way I can just check my phone at my own leisure and see theres a new text. It could have just come in, it could be hours old.  Now whose desperate to talk to you, whore?!?!

I never liked Roy Oswalt all that much.  I’m debating whether I should stick to my guns and hate him and hope I can rub it in everyone’s face when he fails for the Phillies, or if I should embrace him and hope he doesn’t let me down.  I really just badly want another world series title.  Because I can guarentee one thing, a title will not be graced upon this town if Werth is not around.

Early Halloween ideas: Coach Taylor from Friday Night Lights or Don Draper from Mad Men.  Maybe if I find some blond girl who likes to dress up for all hallows eve I can bring a long a Coach’s Wife or Betty Draper as well.

Celebrity Crush for August? Abigail Spencer. She’s a repeat offended to the celebrity crush. Last year she was banging Don Draper, and I just knew that meant I had to be in love with her.  Kinda has a Kate from Lost look to her, which of course only makes me want her more.

Connor Is Awesome Survivor Pool will be up again this year.  So keep an eye out for that.

Kick-Ass and Lost: The Complete Series comes out in August, so that’s going to make it an awesome month.

Anyone want to be a Concast guest?

Anyways, I’m gonna go watch some Studio 60. It’s still as good as it was when it got canceled.

My partner and I enjoyed reading this write-up, I was just wanting to know do you trade featured articles or blog posts? I’m always looking for someone to make trades with and simply thought I might ask.
