I make no bones about it. I’m a huge eminem fan.  So I was happy when he did Letterman’s Top 10 and it made me laugh.

I Need A Shower

Published by Connor under Uncategorized

Yesterday was really hot. I was weed whacking almost all day.  I got super-sweaty.  I came home. Bullshitted around for awhile.  I fell asleep before I could shower. I woke up too late to shower this morning.

My god I must have been stinky at work today.  I gotta mow the lawn, but I’m determined to shower afterwards.

I use Dove Men +Care.  I highly recommend it by the way as a body wash.

Inevitable Sadness

Published by Connor under Uncategorized

So I’m watching “Where The Wild Things Are.”  At one point early on, Max is in science class, and his teacher is explaining the sun.  It led me to google the sun.  This paragraph really bummed me out.

The Sun appears to have been active for 4.6 billion years and has enough fuel to go on for another five billion years or so. At the end of its life, the Sun will start to fuse helium into heavier elements and begin to swell up, ultimately growing so large that it will swallow the Earth. After a billion years as a red giant, it will suddenly collapse into a white dwarf — the final end product of a star like ours. It may take a trillion years to cool off completely.

Jesus! So no matter what we do, there is a definite expiration date on earth.  We could avoid alien invasions, nuclear war, astroids, tsunamis, hurricanes, oil spills, tornados, everything, but the earth is still going to be destroyed.  And yes, I know theres a good chance this idea of the sun running out of fuel won’t effect me, but my great-great-great (to the 500th power) grandchildren could be on earth when the sun swallows it.  That would just be upsetting.

So my advice?  If you truly love someone, don’t let anything stand in your way of it.  Never give up. Never, ever give up. Because you’ll never forgive yourself if you didn’t do everything you possibly could.  And no matter what you do, the sun is going to run out of fuel. And when it does it’s going to swallow the earth whole. And all will cease to be.  Don’t you want to know you were with the love of your life when the earth is swallowed by the sun?

Sleep well, kiddies.

That Went Really Well! We Had Dinner. I Got To See Her..A Good Weekend.

Published by Connor under Uncategorized

The weekends are flying by.  It’s almost July already.  This weekend marked the last one in which I won’t be jamming on Sundays and staying till Mondays.  So hopefully that will extend the awesomeness that is Sea Isle weekends.

This week was all about trying new things.  Friday we took the 7th grade party game that is spin the bottle and put a real “man” spin on things.  Spin that bottle, and whomever it lands on grabs a bottle of baccardi 0 or whatevers around and drinks.  You play till the bottles gone.  No kissing in this spin the bottle…only being awesome.

Then Saturday was filled with losing money to dunn and icing.  Dunn managed to win the 1st Sea Isle Open at the pirate ship mini-golf course.  Then he won a rousing game of screw your neighbor.  Thats when the fun started.

For weeks I had been trying to get people onto the bros icing bros trend with little to no success.  But that all changed this saturday when it took 40th street by storm.  Pat iced Franco.  Diemedio iced Pat (with an excellent doritos bag placement.) Diemedio iced the keg delivery guy.  Franco iced Foster.  And that was only a few of the many icings.  It was a great time.

I had 2 pizza steaks…so that only brings the weekend to an even higher level of awesome.  I got pretty hammered as well.

And we get to do it all again next Friday.
