No One Likes Women’s Basketball, Right?

Published by Connor under Uncategorized

When Trey Wingo went into negotiations for his ESPN contract, it makes sense he would want to be the regular host of NFL Live. ESPN brass probably saw an opportunity and agreed to this, on the terms that Wingo agrees to be the male host of all women’s college basketball shows.  I mean, how else could you explain him agreeing to do work for a sport that is so incredibly shitty and pointless?

Or else Trey Wingo is a women’s college basketball fan.  And that just seems fucked up to me.

The Back Is Important

Published by Connor under Uncategorized

I literally sat here for 10 minutes trying to come up with a pun to use involving “back” for the title of this post. I came up with absolutely nothing.  Anyway, point is, you don’t realize how important your back is until it hurts. It is painful to turn your body to look out the back window of your car, to stand up after shitting, to pick up a 24 pack of soda, and to sit up after laying down.  Now LOST is on, so I have to cut what I was hoping to be an awesome blog post short.

Getting Ready For a Big Month

Published by Connor under Uncategorized

Strained a muscle at work yesterday, so moving around is painful. But good news is I can lay in bed and finish up setting April Madness Brackets. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish the setting up and have the brackets out by Thursday at the latest.

One Outta Four Ain’t Bad

November Final Four Picks

Got Butler. But Kansas, Kentucky, and North Carolina were not so correct. Oh well. I bought that Butler hat because it kind seemed cool. I later in the season bought a Georgia Tech hat, so I could have used them as my UNC replacement, but they shit the bed come tourney time anyway. Let’s go Bulldogs!

And It’s Down To Two

Published by Connor under Uncategorized

In the CIA NCAA March Madness Bracket, Pat and I are the only ones left with a shot at winning.

Pat represents everything everyone hates about college basketball in Duke.  I represent everything that is a scumbag coach in Bob Huggins and West Virginia.

Duke wins, Pat owns a t-shirt.  West Virginia wins, I guess I buy myself a nice t-shirt.

Let’s go Mountaineers.

And A CIA March Madness Update

Published by Connor under Uncategorized

Tonight could go a long way to determining who will be winning the CIA t-shirt.

My bracket’s chances hinge solely on the shoulders of the Butler Bulldogs.  Syracuse looks so good so far though, that it would be hard to have my hopes high.

Go Butler!

Another Day, Another Autism Post

Published by Connor under Uncategorized

Let’s get this out of the way, I am not anti-autism.  I’m anti-people trying to profit from autism problems.  These last three days mean Jenny McCarthy will never blow me, because she is very pro-autism (or something like that).  This story with the autistic bracket kids just bugs me.

I mean, J-Mac and myself are forever linked as mortal enemies, but at least I can kind of respect him for what he did.  He made three pointers. That takes at least a decent amount of skills.  What Alex Hermann did required no skill at all. Why would we glorify this dude for guessing 4 days worth of basketball games right?  He didn’t even really do it! He clearly cheated! And the family is just grasping at straws to prevent them from becoming complete jackasses.

Here’s the other thing about this.  Autism still is not retardation.  But people think it is.  Having said that, this tournament thus far has been retarded.  And as a result, the brackets are retarded.  So why is it surprising anyone that a “retarded” kid would have the perfect bracket?  They are supposed to make retarded picks!

If the bracket had gone according to seed, would we be berating this autistic kid for picking Northern Iowa over Kansas?  No. But I guess we should.  Once again, and I can not stress this enough, the family and the kid are lying about the picks. But the story continues.  WIP discussed it today, obviously they need to read my site more often, so they can get the truth of the matter.

And once more, I am not against the mentally retarded.  At all. A long time ago, I dated a girl who had a handicapped brother, so that’s good enough to serve as my proof.

God I’m Good! Connor – 2, Autistic Kids – 0

Published by Connor under Uncategorized

I love to say I told you so. So “I told you so.”  The Autistic Bracket Kid? Remember him from yesterday?  Well the stories been updated with this interesting piece of info:

CBSSports.com can not confirm Alex’s entry — the company doesn’t track entries to their Bracket Manager program. Unlike CBSSports’ Bracket Challenge, which ranks players nationally and locks entries once the tournament begins, Bracket Challenge does allow changes after play starts.

The Hermanns insist, however, that they filled out their brackets as a family before the tournament started, and haven’t touched the picks since. When asked whether the bracket was altered after the tourney began, Alex’s mother said, simply, “no.”

Busted, dude.  Your story is one day old, and already falling apart.  Dude’s not only autistic, but also a liar.  And that’s the two qualities girls hate most in guys. So good luck ever finding love.

With April Madness right around the corner, I don’t know whether to group this dude and J-Mac into one team, or fight it out seperately.

I can’t stress enough how happy I am this was all a hoax put on by some stupid family trying to get some publicity, money, and a feel good spot on sportscenter.

Enjoy a good laugh with me towards Alex Hermann and his whole family.

HAHAHA! You guys suck!
